My name is Aphrodite Anderson and I am an authorized Civil Marriage Celebrant based in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland, a stunning environment with palm fringed beaches, lush rainforests and romantic chapels overlooking the Coral Sea. I am available to perform Weddings, Commitment Ceremonies, Renewal of Vows and Naming Ceremonies from Cairns to Port Douglas.

Palm Cove is one of the top destinations for beach weddings in Australia and is an idyllic location for elopements and intimate ceremonies. Early morning ceremonies offer a serenity that is simply breathtaking as the ocean is calm with just a gentle breeze. Neighbouring Clifton Beach also offers a beautiful setting for those preferring a more private location.

As a full time Marriage Celebrant, I take pride in my work creating ceremonies that are modern, fresh and heartfelt. I love being able to provide exactly what my couples want and know that they appreciate my advice and guidance. I have a wonderful selection of vows, readings and symbolic ceremonies to assist you in choosing parts that truly reflect your personality and tastes.

If you are travelling alone, I will organize two witnesses for you, if you are from overseas and require formal registration, I will apply on your behalf for your Official Certificate of Marriage and Apostille stamp.

I speak Greek and French and phonetically read several other languages, so if you have family attending who do not speak English, I am happy to say a few words in their language. I have done this on many occasions to their surprise and delight, adding a unique cultural touch to your ceremony.

I am a caring, friendly celebrant and a confident public speaker, but most importantly, I never forget it is your day! Whether you are planning an elopement, intimate ceremony or large extravagant celebration, my commitment to you and attention to detail remain the same to ensure your wedding day is a memorable and joyous occasion.

My Fee

My fee is variable dependent on the date, time and location of your ceremony, so please call me or send an email with your individual requirements. I will provide you with an exact quote within 24 hours. I also offer a weekday elopement package.
